Electric Purgatory: the fate of the black rocker (trailer) is a documentary on the struggles of the black rock musician and the stigma they face in the black community and the music industry. Filmmaker Raymond Gayle tells the story combining live performance footage, historical images, and interviews from many of Black Rock's elite such as Fishbone, Vernon Reid, Sound Barrier, Jimi Hazel, Cody Chesnutt, God Forbid, and Doug Pinnick.
